Well first off I don’t have seven sisters or even one, but what I do have is one person in my life who took me on a very long and lovely stroll along the Seven Sisters Cliffs near Seaford on my birthday a few days ago.
I could go on for days, about how amazing it was, I had a fantastic time and I do not deserve the amount of effort they put into the day for me, and I will never be able to express how much it meant to me.
Let’s be honest you don’t wanna hear my soppy babble anyways.
So I just wish to share some of my favourite photographs and moments from the day, I will try to annotate them as necessary.
We started at 8AM, tired souls, waited till we was a bit more human to start the photos “What you doing?” “Just social media” “England is very flat” Pretty Smiles Deep in focus on something, more interesting than me! Goofy Absolutely engrossed by this photo, I wish I could enter your mind at this point Your favourite photograph from the day, you badgered me to send it to you as soon as possible, what a great photographer I am! We’d 15 minutes till our next train so we nipped outside so you could smoke, you always look so elegant when you smoke. I asked you to pose for this one! Colourful shoes Nice shoes and my ugly boots I guess I find this appealing. An unexpected beauty shot We arrvied in Seaford and boy was it hot I continued throughout the day to take unexpecting shots of you, I just love the way you look in your own world always. Trolleys init Strolling to take a photo on your phone Where the walk began, except we went in the other direction. Beach Hut Cliff Edge You took some photos on your phone, I do not photograph well! It’s quite a drop The earth had cracked here, it was a hot and dry day. Countless times you aimlessly wandered past my camera as I took a photo, this one however I quite like! You told me I couldn’t go this way but I really wanted too! Always looking photogenic Looking of into the sea I asked you to do this, not sure why, looks good though! I thought I was further away! Again I don’t photography but you was nice enough to ask if I wanted a photo! Ohh look at that handsome man! Our first stop, we ate fruit with a beautiful view, both you at the cliffs Rusty things appeal to me! Walking down the beach, we neglected the signs that said no way out! Walking to our doom! It sure was lovely down here, I found you the perfect stone it was perfectly spherical shaped by the Earth I had to climb all the rocks! This was the point we realised we couldn’t get out and we’d walked so far! We climbed of this treacherous trap, I held your hand and helped your across A nearby river that met the sea Some Grass, nothing special What a sight The face you give me when you catch me taking photos of you! Beautiful Even more attractive The ascent was long and tireome, the decent however was nice Another shot walked into! More cliffs What a landscape We reached our final destination, I told you we’d walk till we reached this, but we also had to walk back, we’d been walking for 3-4 hours by this point! You made lunch for us, obviously all vegetarian, it was delicious, thank you so much! Two crows chilling, making some funny noises! The other lighthouse in the distance Suddenly it got very windy VERY WINDY! Seascape We took photographs together… Obviously they didn’t got as planned1 I’m not sure what we was doing but we collapsed together, good job we didn’t fall off the cliff! Finally we got a nice photograph together, well, this is as good as it gets with us! Your turn with the camera now! You have a unique eye I love how you capture the simplest bit of colour We made our way back and you conveniently used the camera to stop and take breaks I can’t believe how beautiful these shots are! !!!! I gave up walking and began dragging my exhausted body along! Look at that! You said you only really like landscapes with Sea in it More convenient stops to photograph I gave up again! Exhausted! You can see how far we walked We was both unhappy with the fact someone left this here, I picked it up and carried it for a further hour and half till I finally found a bin! Connecting with nature Painful you said. You found a nice rock What are you thinking? Snapshot! I took a photo of this Rabi, seemed aesthetically pleasing We fucked up, we had to wade through in the end, my shoes got drenched! Nice angles by you! You saw a shot, and took it! You offered my back my camera to take my version! Rugged yet appealing! Your sofa, you said you want this in your room, I’d do a lot for you but I think I’d struggle! Got ya! Runny noses are no joke! Fit! The warmth of the sun going down was so alluring! I took this on my phone to see the difference between my camera! Rugged! You said anyone could take this photo, but you did so that’s all that matters. You marched on ahead, whilst I waited for a moment to photograph you! Oh fuck, lord! You got this brilliant photograph All the birds had mostly dispersed by the time you handed me the camera! The sun was going down the day was nearly over, we’d been together nearly 12 hours now! Snapping away Finally dessert you made! It was delicious, I took some more home with me! I like photographing you!
Silly!Another phone one! Into the distance Smiling! Snapshot Snapshot! I was so fucking burnt, I neglected suntan lotion! Oops! Still paying for it now! The train home, via London! I was sad, I didn’t want it to end. You drew us together, I put it on my computer table, I can see it everyday! Thank You
Thank You!
